Dear Parent:

Our company was started in 1999 and continues to be owned and operated by family.  We are centrally located near downtown Greenville.  Class is held at 1409-B Laurens Road in a bright, fun and educational environment.

Sign up your student the morning of the class, or pre-register online or by phone.  We offer a pay as you go program which allows you to pay fees in installments.  (Please see terms and conditions)  Lunch is offered at a $6 charge and includes pizza from Tony's Pizza in Mauldin.  All students have access to snacks and drinks throughout class time at no extra charge.  Lunch time alsoo used to show the reality of drinking and driving with the help of "Drunk Goggles" and video driving games.

We understand that teens are individuals, with their own strengths and weakness.  We take pride in helping your teen achieve their goal of becoming a safe driver.  We also carry a burden, the safety of your child.  All of our instructors are for parents.  Real life consequences are used as backup for South Carolina Department of Public Safety laws.  We believe that heart effect is more important then shock value.  All curriculum is specifically used for the purpose of making your teen a safe, confident and capable driver.

Thank you for trusting us with your teen.

When the formal training is done!

Upon completion of your students formal driver's ed program, the teaching does not end. It is up to you the parent to ensure what they have learned sticks and that the teaching continues. Here are a few tips on continuing the process:

  • Be a good role model - obey all traffic rules and set an good example.
  • Work with your student on practicing and developing the skills necessary to pass their state road test. Don't rush your student, let them develop at their own pace.
  • Encourage them to drive as often as possible during the learning process, there's no better way to improve their skills, than behind the wheel experience.
  • Keep track of your new drivers where abouts for the first six months of driving., consider our Track-a-Teen system, which is available through our web site.
  • Control the number of passengers in the vehicle, while your student is driving, this helps to reduce distraction.
  • When your new driver takes to the roadway alone, the state only allows drivers up to age seventeen, to have only two passengers under the age of 21 in the car unless there is  a licensed driver 21 years or older in the car, except when transporting students or family members to and from school.
  • You may want to consider attending the 8 hour classroom session with your student, to make sure your driving skills are current.

"THE OTHER GUYS"

Unlike the other commercial driving schools in the upstate:

  • We do provide door to door service.
  • We do ensure that your student gets the best possible training.
  • We do teach them how to handle emergency situations.
  • We do try to be flexable in our scheduling.
  • We do offer additionl behind the wheel training after the required training is over.
  • We do make every effort to teach your student what is expected of them when preparing for their state road test.
  • We do issue completions certificates (for Insurance) and PDL (required to take state road test)form upon satifactory completion of the program
  • We are truly concerened about your childs safety and strive to provide a quality, positive driving experience.
  • We don't teach your student how to make unsafe high speed manuvers, I don't care what kind of car they are driving. There will be plenty of time for them to enroll in a proffesional high performance driving school when they have first mastered the art of normal driving.
  • We don't attempt push your student beyond there ability, nor teach them something that could get them seriously injured or even killed.
  • We don't make false claims or garentees.
  • We don't tempt you with a cheap price then try to sell you up.
  • We don't gouge our pricing to get rich.
  • We don't allow a student to drive more than three (3) hours at a time, we want your student to learn, not just meet the state mandated time requirements.
  • We know our cost and we try to be as fair and honest as possible in providing your child with the best driving intruction available.
